NASA CONTRACTOR INOMEDIC EXCELLS IN SAFETY
Kennedy Space Center, Florida. On 25 January, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) presented NASA Contractor InoMedic Health Applications with the Voluntary Protection Program STAR award. The VPP STAR, OSHA's highest award, is presented only to businesses that pass a rigorous inspection for comprehensive safety and health management systems. Accepting the award was Mike Runion, InoMedic's Quality Assurance and Safety Manager at the Kennedy Space Center.
Presenting the award was Mr. Keven Yarbrough, a top OSHA administrator in the Florida region. Only 75 businesses in Florida have achieved the distinctive STAR status.
Leroy P. Gross, M.D, Owner & CEO of InoMedic Health Applications Inc, stated "IHA is honored to receive this award from OSHA and we appreciate our safety partnership with NASA. The VPP recognition reflects the great care and dedication of IHA employees and the Kennedy Space Center community."
Joining in the ceremony were senior members of NASA Kennedy Space Center and representatives of the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers.
InoMedic Health Applications is a service disabled veteran owned small business with specialized employees who provide medical, occupational health and environmental support to the NASA, the Department of Defense, and commercial companies in the Aerospace Industries.
